Sylvie Jousset likes to work the material of her jewelry: to soften its rigidity or, conversely, to geometricize it to the extreme. 

Her work seeks to desacralize the jewel to give it meaning. This meaning often taking its source in the reflection generated by our relationship with nature and our environment.

Son travail cherche à désacraliser le bijou pour lui don­ner du sens, ce sens prenant sou­vent sa source dans la réflexion qu’engendrent nos rap­ports avec la nature et notre environnement.
